Project overview

The BB7 team supported the client by surveying all detection aspects and made recommendations on how best to improve the detection system in a cost effective manner.

Project Scope

Complexities arose on the project, with high levels on CO2, BTEX and Nitrogen in areas. As a result of the aforementioned, a gas dispersion analysis had to be carried out to ensure the toxic gases posed no significant risk to personnel on site. Once this was successfully completed with the  surveying of all detection aspects, the client awarded further work subject to its successful completion.

The BB7 response

Here at BB7, our engineers have carried out post incident consultancy and emergency fire response. Our engineers have flown to a number of incidents with different characteristics, including major oil spill response and mitigation, fires in refineries due to natural disasters and storage tank fires such as the Mersin Naphtha fire, whereby BB7 gave expert advice to help reduce such damage.
