Job Overview
The role of the security engineer is to work with investors, designers, developers, and end users to identify and manage security risks facing our clients’ assets, reputation, and to enable business resilience and continuity. They are expected to work alongside design teams and client teams to capture stakeholder requirements for security designs that build upon any previously developed security strategies. Security engineers are expected to develop strategic security designs into technical information and documentation expected at RIBA stages 3 & 4, to a level of design at which the tendering and construction documentation processes are able to be progressed.
Additionally, security engineers will be expected to undertake roles in RIBA stage 5, a construction stage, in which support and supervision on behalf of the client may be required for the installation and commissioning of security measures by third parties.

The candidate
The candidate would ideally have a minimum 4 years’ experience working in a Security engineering role and have a recognised security qualifications or strong experience in the fields. Very good interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining close links with colleagues, clients and contractors are essential. The role will attract a competitive salary, dependent on experience, with generous holiday entitlement and a good working environment. In addition, we have a discretionary profit share scheme.
