A Chartered Engineer, Structural Engineer and Structural Fire Engineer, Tim's skills and experience are a huge asset to both our fire engineering and modelling and visualisation teams.He's is the Author / Co-author of more than 30 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings in structural engineering, fire and smoke, people movement modelling.
Tim is the principle author of FEAST – Finite Element base computer software for Analysis of Steel/composite Structures at elevated Temperatures. He also developed T-Rad a software tool for modelling external fire spread.
Tim has been involved in many high profile projects such as the £900 million pound re-development of Liverpool City Centre, but also the $2 Billion Dollar, Jebel Hafeet Glacier development in the United Arab Emirates and the £350 million pound Raffles City Bahrain Bay project.
For thirteen years he was an Engineering Lecturer for Manchester University. During his career he has worked with both multi-disciplinary and independent fire engineering firms in the North West.
